about

grindcore is the key but not only traditional blast beats, also many influences from the different types of music. open mind and need to create own music gives cause for effect's style unique and fresh content. together with bass, drums and deep growling vocals cause for effect plays short, fast and intense songs with high technical skill.

some milestones:

• spring 1992 tuomo and ari started to play together
• 1995 first official release cause for effect / noise waste split 7" ep
• 1996 original guitarist was kicked out, jamu came to the band as a session guitarist
• 1997 two studio sessions
• 1998 tuomo and ari recorded full length cd by themselves
• 1998 germany tour in october/november
• 1999 jamu left the band because of lack of time
• 1999 tuomo and ari decided to continue as a duo
• 2000 first full length cd "fast material" coming out
• 2001 european (poland, czech, germany, belgium) tour
• 2001 "pq-2" mcd coming out
• 2002 second full length cd "album" released. more gigs in finland than ever before. it includes two gigs together with napalm death
• 2003 european (germany, switzerland) tour. more gigs in finland including one gig with entombed and three gigs with nasum
• 2004 "professional 300" mcd came out, short 3 gig visit in germany, included a gig in morbid festival, about 12 gigs in finland
• 2005 about 15 gigs in finland, slowly composing new material and record contract with finnish dies irae records
• 2006 compilation cd 2001-2004 released in june, two gigs at tuska festival evening club in june/july, new material for the next album ready in september, at the studio in november recorded latest full lenght cd, total 18 gigs in finland
• 2007 recorded three videos and studiolive in january, new full lenght cd 0+1=01 released in february, three gigs in a tuska festival evening club in july
